Research Brief
Electronic health records contain valuable real-world data that can provide novel insights into diverse research areas. My project aims to harness electronic health record data to identify drugs that have unintended beneficial effects in conditions they were not developed for. In doing so, practitioners can make best use of drugs that are currently available and research into new therapeutic agents can be informed.
