Arnaud is currently a 1st year PhD student of the Department of Computing, Imperial College London. He got his BSc and MSc from EPFL and did his master thesis at Riken, Tokyo. He worked as data scientist for the Geneva University Hospitals and as research assistant for the Center for Mathematical Modeling, University of Chile, Santiago.
Arnaud’s work focus on the development of explainable reinforcement learning algorithms. He sees the framework of Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning as a promising tool toward that goal. He is also generally interested in RL theory and RL application to healthcare.
