Ben Post

PhD Student

Ben is a first year PhD student on the AI4Health CDT programme. He qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical School and is a specialty registrar in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine in London.

Research Brief

Ben’s research interest is the identification of patients, in the community, with chronic medical conditions and comorbidities at high risk of critical illness. Using the Northwest London Whole System Integrated Care (WSIC) platform, containing linked primary and secondary care data, his project aims to develop prediction models to identify these at risk patients, better understand the epidemiology of this patient cohort and explore the opportunity to deploy early medical and/or advanced care planning interventions.
