Chaiyawan is a senior research associate and IT specialist. Currently, he is working on understanding movement data from acute stroke patients. He has a background in Electrical Engineering, Control Theory, and Human Robotics.
Chaiyawan’s research focuses on a system that helps improve the quality of life and quality of care of patients, clinicians, and nurses in the acute stroke unit. His main research goals can be broken down into: Investigating the link between human movement, behaviours, and activities using machine learning methods. Develop a novel deep learning technique capable of predicting patients' activities and recovery score from movement data. Create a complete monitoring system that provides insight knowledge into patients well being and recovering rate.
