Fabio is a postdoctoral research associate at the Dept. of Computing working on Machine Learning and Data Science for healthcare. Previously, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from University College London in 2021, where he focused on multi-view machine learning methods to uncover links between brain and behaviour.
Research Brief
Fabio's research interests lie on the development, implementation, and optimisation of (probabilistic) machine learning models in healthcare. Recently, Fabio has been implementing and applying models for time series analysis in multiple healthcare datasets. Fabio is also interested in integrating causality into machine learning to create more robust and fairer models.
