Giorgia is a PhD student in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London, funded by the UKRI AI for Health Centre for Doctoral Training. She holds a BSc in Genomics from the University of Bologna and an MSc in Systems Biology from Maastricht University. Co-supervised by Professor Faisal and Professor Ledesma-Amaro, Giorgia’s research focuses on applying artificial intelligence to accelerate alternative protein research and advance the development of sustainable and nutritious food systems.
