Jinpei is a first-year PhD student working on Neural Interfacing. His research focuses on EEG, EMG decoding with deep learning to enable patients with disabilities to control rehabilitation and assistive devices. Previously, he finished an MRes in Medical Robotics and Image Guided Intervention at the Hamlyn Centre, Imperial College London, an MSc in Advanced Computing and a BSc in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Manchester, UK.
Jinpei's research interests focus on developing novel machine-learning frameworks to address the scarcity and heterogeneity issues in biosignals data, thereby reducing the calibration time and improving the quality of life and user experience for patients with disabilities.
