Nat Wannawas

Postdoctoral Fellow

Nat is a second year PhD student. He did his MSc in Human and Biological Robotics at Imperial College London. He has a background in Mechanical Engineering.

Research Brief

Nat’s research is about reinforcement learning (RL) and neurostimulation. He is now developing RL controllers for controlling Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES). The controller is expected to be able to learn stimulation strategies, allowing paralysed patient to move their paralysed limbs with their own muscles again.
