Sadaf Sohrabi

PhD Student

Sadaf Sohrabi is a Plastic Surgery resident and former NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow, currently undertaking a UKRI-funded AI4Health PhD at Imperial College London. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical science and artificial intelligence, combining clinical insight with data-driven methods to improve surgical decision-making and patient outcomes.

Research Brief

Sadaf’s PhD research focuses on developing machine learning approaches to model patient trajectories in acute and surgical care. She is interested in integrating heterogeneous clinical data to support safe, interpretable decision-making in time-critical settings, with the aim of improving coordination across care pathways and translating AI methods into routine clinical practice. Her PhD project is supervised by Professor Aldo Faisal, Professor Shehan Hettiaratchy, and Dr Barbara Cleaver.
