Yuxuan Liu
PhD Student
Yuxuan is currently a first-year PhD student of the CDT AI4Health. His research interests fall mainly on applying machine learning techniques on optimizing medical decision making and health care operations. Prior to join the Imperial College, Yuxuan has four-year full-time work experience in healthcare technology firms, after he obtained his engineering degree from Purdue University, US in 2017. He also has a MSc degree in Mathematical Science from Australian National University.
Research Brief
Yuxuan is working on reinforcement learning based management and control of pediatric intensive care ventilation. The ideal aim of the research would be the improvement of dynamic clinical treatment and the development of bedside applicable clinical decision support system.
