Ziyue Zhu

Ziyue is an MRes Neurotechnology student at the Bioengineering Department. Her research mainly focuses on brain signals decoding with machine learning methods. She achieved her Bachelor degree in Electronic Engineering at Fudan University, China.
Research Brief
Ziyue hopes to help patients with motor disabilities to rehabilitate using non-invasive Brain Computer Interfaces. Her current research aims to decode multimodal brain signals during hand grip task with machine learning methods. Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) will be used to help understand sensory feedback and motor control components in the brain activity during force generation tasks.
